Registration Timelines, Materials, and Resources (2025-2026)
Incoming 9th Grade Registration Timeline for 2025-2026 (current 8th graders planning to attend Fossil Ridge High School starting in August 2024)

December 5, 2024(6-8pm): Fossil Ridge Open House
  • Join FRHS Staff as they share information on programs and classes offered in 2025-2026. Learn about FRHS including our schedule, academics, school culture, and registration information. Tours will be available! This event is for students and families. 
  • Kick off begins in the FRHS Gym at 6pm
Week of January 20th, 2025: Registration Presentation at PSD Middle Schools
  • FRHS Counselors will deliver a Registration Presentation to all incoming 9th grade students. Fossil will provide each student a paper copy of the 9th grade Registration Form. Students should refer to the FRHS Course Guide to read course descriptions and learn more about available course options.
January 29, 2025 (6-7pm): Registration Presentation for incoming families and Q&A event
  • FRHS Counselors will deliver a Registration Presentation to all incoming 9th grade students and their families. Students within PSD would have received a Registration Form in the week prior and more will be available. This presentation will help walk families through the registration process.
  • Following the presentation, a Question and Answer session will occur with counselors available for questions.
​February 3-7, 2025: Registration Collection
  • Students will complete their Registration form, and submit this to their High School Counselors who are visiting PSD middle schools this week.

Step by Step Directions:
  1. Review your 9th grade Registration Form and listen to the Registration Presentations delivered by the High School Counselors (Registration Forms will be handed out to PSD middle school students the week of January 20th, 2025. Those unable to attend can pick up a hard copy from the front office or print one off from this website.
  2. Watch the Registration Video created by FRHS Counselors (see video under "Registration Materials and Resources"). Videos will be updated prior to January 20th.
  3. Utilize the resources on this webpage to fill out your 9th grade Registration Form. Resources include: FRHS Course Guide, Blank Multi-Year Planning Tool, and conversations with current teachers.
  4. If you have questions, attend our Q&A session held on January 29th from 6-7pm.
  5. Students will individually meet with their High School Counselor and turn in their 9th grade Registration form when HS Counselors visit Middle School the week of February 3rd. If you are out of district, you can drop the Registration form off at the FRHS main office.
  6. All Registration forms should be turned into Fossil by Friday February 7th, 2025.
