Biographical Sketch

Carolyn Fries is the Counselor for students in grades 9-12 with last names beginning with So-Z, as well as students in Integrated Services whose case manager is Kim Eberhart.

Prior to joining the Fossil Ridge Counseling team in the fall of 2015, Carolyn worked with students on credit recovery. She completed her Master of Education in School Counseling from Colorado State University in May 2015.

​Carolyn is passionate about working with high school students and making their high school experience positive and fun, while preparing them for their next step in life, whether that be workforce, college, a gap year, or wherever they may be headed.

Outside of the counseling world, Carolyn loves being active. She enjoys swimming, biking, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, and being outside. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Lexi and Luna.

Elementary and Special Education, BA from Northern Arizona University School Counseling, MA from Colorado State University
